Loving Anthology: Our Voices, Our Lives
The online literary journal featuring writers and poets in interracial/multiracial relationships.
Writers! Poets! Raise a glass. Lift your voice!
Celebrate the Lovings challenge to the oligarchy status quo.
Thank you for your interest in our Loving-inspired Anthology.
Loving Anthology initially launched in the Fall of 2016 with a call for submissions to writers and poets in interracial marriages. Starting January 2017 we are thrilled to expand and revise Loving Anthology as the online literary journal featuring nonfiction essays and narratives from writers and poets who are in interracial/multiracial relationships, dating/'swirling', or married.
Add your voice
Loving Anthology seeks submissions from novice and seasoned writers and poets, of any ethnic or racial makeup, who are in interracial relationships: short-term, long-term, just dating/ ‘swirling’, or married.
We’re looking for unpublished and original nonfiction essays and narratives about ordinary people having extraordinary experiences within their interracial relationship. Your submission should:
-
Tell a story. Give readers a peep inside your relationship that is inspirational for all readers as well as those in mixed race marriages and families.
-
Touch the hearts of other interracial couples and make them laugh, cry, or say, “Wow, never thought about that!”
-
Nudge, transform, or enlighten someone’s cultural or social entrenched stereotype about interracial relationships and multiracial experience.
For story ideas, see Loving-Inspired Writing Prompts.
Words are your voice!
We’re eager to see your most excellent work in Loving Anthology: Our Voices, Our Lives.
